Edit date stamp in Monochrome
-
Is there a way to edit the way the date is formatted in the Monochrome theme? I have it set the way I want through the settings, but it displays the month and date as giant numbers and the year at 50% of that size above it. How can I edit this in the CSS? I have purchased the upgrade. Thank you for helping!

I can’t help with your CSS editing but I would like to share a link to a post written by a volunteer who can hep you. He’s not logged in presently so you will have to be patient waiting for him to find this thread and assist you.

Emily,
Add this to your CSS:
.meta_date { font-size: 320%; }320 is a suggested value; change it till you get the desired size.

Perhaps Emily wants to make month/day smaller, not year larger; if so, I think your example above should have “.post_date” instead of “.meta_date”.
If that’s what she wants to change, you are correct.
Emily,
Sometimes, you won’t see your changes applied if you just “preview” them; you need to actually save the CSS in order to see them. If after saving your changes you still don’t see them, add the “important” rule at the end of the value, like so:
font-size: 320% !important; -
