I’ve noticed that my domain name has wordpress at the end of it and I’d like to know is there a way to edit it out in the dashboard without having to pay for a new custom domain
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The answer is no. You either purchase an upgraded plan to get your own custom domain or you don’t. There is no such thing as a free custom domain name.

You can start with a free plan and upgrade at any time thereafter if you wish to. There are no trial upgrades but we do have a refund policy. Unless or until one makes a purchased for upgraded features they will not be available to you.

There are 3 ways to add a custom domain to your blog. Please note that an active WordPress.com plan is required to add a custom domain to your site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#getting-started
