edit email address

  I receive two mail notifications every time a reader comments on my posts. It looks like I have registered my two different mails but I cant find where edit that. Thank you

  Hello there!

  You should certainly only be receiving one notification. Are both notifications identical? Are they both sent to the same address?

  Your email address can be viewed or adjusted in your personal settings. In your Dashboard, you can click Users → Personal Settings to visit that page.

  If you scroll down the page, you’ll see your Account Details. Make any corrections there that you need.

  Are you following your own comments? If so, it could be the reason you’re getting two notifications. To check on this setting, go to the following link:
  https://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  Find your blog in the list and then click Edit. If you see that the “Send new comments by email” feature is turned ON, please turn it OFF.

  Hi, thank you for your answer. I am following my own blog but what I get doubled is the notification of new comments waiting to be accepted, not new post or new approved comments.
  I checked my email address and there´s only one address there, which seems to be correct.
  Mails are not sent to the same address, I have two different mail accounts and I get one email notification in each mail every time there is a new comment waiting for moderation and I have searched all over the dashboard but cannot find a solution.

  Thanks for that additional information!

  Is it possible that the email address that you’ve assigned to your account forwards to another email account?

  For instance, sometimes folks will forward a custom email address to their gmail account.

  Hi, yes, that is exactly what I do. But why do I only get double mails when receiving comment for moderation notifications and not in any other case? Thank you again

  Hi, one more detail: I notice one mail notification from wordpress is written in English and the other one is in Spanish. Is this information useful? Thank you!

  Ah! This is indeed helpful.

  I am going to leave a comment on one of your posts. Could you take a screenshot of each of the emails you receive and upload them to your Media Library, so I can view the issue, exactly as you experience it? Just let me know when there’s something I can look at.
