Hi there,
Please read the relevant support doc at Footer Credit Options https://en.support.wordpress.com/footer-credits/ -
sorry, I can’t talk about powered by WP or site at WP like this.
I talk about that in this ‘rowling’ theme bottom show that for my site “copyright 2017 Scienceintamil” .
I ask how to remove the copyright 2017 symbol…
* sorry for my poor english

I don’t find a copyright symbol or “copyright 2017” notice in the site https://scienceintamil.wordpress.com/. Where do you find this? I find neither the symbol © nor the word “copyright” on the front page of the site. Are you referring to a different site?

now, you can find that…
https://scienceintamil.wordpress.com/I like this rowling theme but how do I remove the copyright symbol or replace by cc license.

I’m not certain, but from what I read in the Footer Credit Options support page linked to above by @timethief, I suspect that you would need to have purchased the Business Plan to be able to remove that. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right here to call for staff attention. Staff will be able to provide a definitive answer to your question.

Hi there – the copyright icon is hard-coded into Rowling, so unfortunately it’s not possible to change it to Creative Commons at the moment — but thanks for pointing this out, as it probably shouldn’t have been coded this way. :) Let me report it to our theme developers to see if there’s something we can do at this point.

Our developers had a look at this, but unfortunately there isn’t an easy way to change the copyright line now without if affecting other users who may prefer to have it there. If you want, you could switch to another theme to get around the issue, but we won’t be changing the line in Rowling. Sorry about that.
