Edit Gallery Widget
-
Hi – I have a couple of questions with regards to the Gallery Widget… the first issue is how do i remove or change the dark grey border… ie whats the CSS to do that?
Also is it possible to remove the border and have the images the exact size of the widget?
Thanks in advance
Jamie

I have the exact same questions on the slideshow for my gallery both in a post and as a sidebar widget.
I also want to be able to link each image to a specific page just like you can when adding images to a post. And I’d like to remove the rounded corners.
Tech support suggested that I’d find the answers for the background color in this thread — https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/removing-black-background-from-image-slider?replies=17. But the instructions are incomplete, leaving out how to format the !important suffix.

Sorry, and can i move the image so that it starts where ‘Before & After’ starts… ie more to the left?

@jmedesign79 — just use this instead of what I sent earlier. I don’t think the other stuff is necessary.
.widget .slideshow-window { background-color: transparent !important; border: 0 none !important }I’m not sure about making the widget any bigger. Sorry. The Before & After actually is aligned correctly if the border is showing.
You could experiment with adding:
#gallery-3 h2.widget-title { padding-left: 28px; } -
Hi @ lydiahess, since you are using a different theme, and since CSS is generally theme specific, can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum? Many thanks in advance.
