Edit Icons on Home Page do not work?!

    I want to edit my Home page.

    Normally, to do this, I would go into ‘Customize’ and then the page would come up with Edit icons. I would just click on whichever icon for the section I want to edit, and make changes. However, I cannot do anything now. I go into ‘Customizer’ the Edit icons appear, I click on them and nothing happens. The page is basically frozen.

    I do not have any plug-ins other than the Must Have Plug-Ins therefore there is nothing to deactivate, or at least I cannot deactivate any of them because they do not have a deactivate button.

    My current version of WordPress is the most recent. There are no updates to any Plug-ins or versions that need to be done. So how did my site change overnight?

    What can I do here? I created this website myself a few months ago and there were no navigation problems until this week. I can edit and update any of the pages, I simply cannot get into anything other than the main content on the Home page.

    I really need to update this content. Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated.

    Sorry but you are in the wrong place.
    These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    And you should ask in the WordPress.org forums.
    http://wordpress.org/support/

    If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you’ll need to register one there.
