Edit index page

I am a beginner at WordPress.com. I created a new web page titled “Home”, added content, and published it. Now I find that there is a default “Home” page or index page, and now I have two pages called “Home”. The default page created automatically, I guess, when I created my site, has no content or name, and I can’t edit or delete it. I’m confused. How can I edit or delete the first Home page?

I’ve fixed this for you – your theme automatically names the index page ‘Home’, so when you created the new home page, it was renamed to ‘Home2’ since there was already one named ‘Home’.

What I did was set your blog to show a static page for the front page, and set that to your ‘Home2’ page. You can always change this by going to Settings > Reading, and changing the static page settings from there.
