Edit info on a page
-
I need to change dates bi-weekly on one of my pages; why can’t I edit a standing page? The editor wants me to create an entirely new page. I don’t see the Tool icon on the upper right.

I found I had to go to ‘classic’ to be able to change text and text colors. I update this page weekly, and was being frustrated when I could not make changes.

It is very small, but there is an “edit” link under the social media and like buttons at the bottom.
Let me know if you do not see it.

Yes – I see it – it is how I usually make my edits. However, it was nowhere to be found, and when I found an ‘edit’ it gave me text, but not colors. Hopefully, the next time I go to edit this in a week, everything will work as it always has, Thank you for your time and efforts.

When you edit that page, it loads in our new ‘classic block’ which allows you to have the same editing tools you are used to, while using our new ‘block editor’
More info on the new editor here: https://wordpress.com/blog/2020/08/13/the-classic-editing-experience-is-moving-not-leaving/
Please not it is possible to change text color in the ‘classic block’ though that option may not be in the place you are used to. You can see a video here showing you where the text color option is found in the ‘classic block’
