Edit link on my home page

  I see that there is the word Edit along with a Comments link, I guess that’s a link, anyway a visitor to my home page could edit the text on my home page and the same thing shows up on my About page and I have no idea why or where they came from. I obviously do not want some one to be able to edit my work.

  Hi. Log out of WordPress.com and go back to those pages. You’ll understand that what you see as an administrator is not the same as what your visitors see.

  Only you can see it and you can only see it when your are logged in.
