EDIT links on pages take long time to open

    Hi Guys,

    I’ve noticed recently that when ever I try and open an EDIT link in my dashboard or one supplied in the blog itself, it takes ages to open and then save any changes. It’s been really bad over the last 48 hours. Have you got any ideas why? I’ve tried using different PC’s and even another broadband connection with the same results.

    Suggestions welcome.

    What about going to manage and editing from there? Any different?

    Tried that, still the same problem unfortunatly. I also delted all the cookies etc but it can still take up to 11 minutes to work!

    11 minutes to delete your cookies? Should take about 5 seconds.

    When was the last time you ran a virus checker on your computer and how old is your virus file?

    Ooops..my rotten english! I mean it can take 11 minutes to open the edit panel from the blog links.

    You just had me concerned. We’ve had folks here in the forums before with leaving virus trails in their postings.

    Not sure on this one. You’re tried the stuf that I normally suggest like clearing our the browser and cookie caches and all that. The only other thing I can think of is clearing out your DNS cache although I would be surprised to see that work.

    Try sending in an email to support at this domain and see if staff has any suggestions.

    Now that is interesting and strange! I never knew you could leave virus trails in your postings – shocking!
