Edit Masonry Caption text size and gradient background

    Hi, I’m using the Mayland theme and have inserted a Masonry block with captions. I want to use the “Customize CSS” function to change the text size, and also to remove the gradient background of the caption. I am very new at CSS, and tried using this:

    .coblocks-gallery--caption {}

    But it doesn’t change the captions at all. Am I using the right class? Or is this somehow disabled because of the theme I’m using?

    PS: I don’t have access to the WordPress CSS Editor, not sure why. So I would need to be able to solve this with the Addtional CSS in Customizer. :)

    WordPress CSS Editor is something you can use on sites using open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org. Here, on WordPress.com, things do not work the same way.

    I don’t see a Masonry on your site, have you already published the page in question? You can reach us directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way you can get help faster.
