"Edit menu" page: no down arrow to the right of menu items
-
I went to the “edit menu” page for my blog so I could remove a menu item. The page displays all the menu items, but does not display the down arrow at the right of each item, so I can’t click on the arrow to edit any of the menu-item settings. In the past, these arrows have been there, and I’ve successfully edited menu items. What’s going on? Thanks.

Hi Eric! As you may have seen, we’ve recently given the Dashboard a makeover and it’s possible that you’re experiencing a bug in the transition.
It’s possible that this could be as easy as clearing out your cache and cookies. GIve it a try and let me know if the arrows appear afterwards:

My browser cache and cookies contain a lot of useful information. How can I clear out just WordPress-related cache and cookies? Thanks.

Hi Eric – sure, I can understand wanting to keep your cookies so you don’t have to log back into everything. :)
Your browser cache, however, doesn’t hold any actually useful information. You can clear just the cache following the instructions on this page: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

Sounds like it was a temporary glitch—another person reported the same thing, then came back to say it’s fixed now.

Yup, temporary glitch — it’s fine now, and I didn’t even have to clear the cache or cookies. Thanks for your help!
