Edit old widgets

    Hi…
    I can’t access my original Widgets to make updates…the ones that came with my weblog theme years ago.
    WP seems to have added a ‘Block’ Widget system that allows me to add to or edit the bottom portion of my sidebar, but not the top sidebar.
    No…I’m not interested in changing my theme…very happy with it and the widgets that came with it.

    Hi there!

    The Block Widget editor was added to the core WordPress.org software (learn more about that here) just over a year ago which replaces the classic widgets section. It’s still possible to use the classic widgets until it’s removed, but that requires the Classic Widget plugin.

    On WordPress.com sites, a Business plan or higher is needed to install any plugin.
