edit only parents style in pilcrow menu
-
Hi,
I need to edit the css to modify the background and color of a menu, but only the parent items, not the childs in order to differentiate them.
I found the code at style.css but I am unable of modifying only the parents.Any help would be great.

Here is the CSS code Pilcrow uses in it’s main stylesheet with the colors changed out so you can try it as an example:
#nav .current_page_item a, #nav li:hover > a, #nav ul ul :hover > a { background: red; color: green; } #nav ul ul a:hover { background: red; }You should be able to adjust from there, but do let us know a link to your site if you have further questions.

For now it’s only a test site. I want to change the color/appearence of the first Publications menu, or add an arrow or something to distinguish it from the clickable things.

Thanks in advance
