'edit' only takes me to a W logo

  I’m trying to edit my blog post and social buttons, but the option to edit takes me to a blank page with the W logo only, and on my home page, the customize/edit button has disappeared. This also happened yesterday. What’s going on?

  oh, now it’s working…but for future reference, why does it do that?
