‘Edit’ option not available for my Blog from Dashboard / Pages

    Hi. I want/need to change the name of my blog page from ‘Painting Blog’ to ‘Art Blog’, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to edit the title of the blog page. There isn’t even an ‘edit’ option from the Pages view of the Dashboard for the Painting Blog page, but there is an ‘edit’ option for the other two pages listed. How can I edit the name of the blog page?

    Hey there!

    Are you looking to change the name of the Painting Blog from the Main Menu? If that’s the case you can do that from the Customizer

    Once you are into the Customizer, navigate to the Menus in the left sidebar, then click on Main. Select Painting Blog and change the name under the Navigation Label

    Once you’re happy with what you’re seeing, please don’t forget to click on “Save Changes” at the top.

    Hi. Thank you for trying to help. When I’m in the Customizer, go to Main, there is no listing of Painting Blog. There is only a button to “create new menu”. I can’t find anything in the customizer options that allows me to change the names of the menu headers (I’m not using any sub-menus), namely “Home”, “About”, and “Painting Blog”.

    A screenshot of what you see whenever you navigate to the Customizer and then selecting “Menus” and then selecting “Menu” – to open the actual menu?

    Hi @bernabplanalp,

    Looking at Appearance → Customize → Menus, you don’t have a primary menu at the moment. You can create a new primary menu, ordering the links to your liking. From here, you can also change the menu link title.

    Otherwise, you can change the name of your posts page by setting it temporarily as a regular page, as shown here:

    Once you’ve made the change, you can set it back as your post page.
