Edit or add to sidebar blogroll…

  I have Misty Lake theme and set up sidebar with blogroll (I call Blogs I Follow) . I want this to be a space where I insert blogs related to blog subject (not blogs I follow category). I can NOT find in forums or help how to EDIT this section or ADD another blog to this section.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks, neither of those suggestions work! But another person suggested a process which did….go to Administration, click on blogroll, then on category, then edit…..seemed to do the trick.

  So many good things about WordPress – sure seems like lots of people have asked about sidebar issues, but WP help lacking a bit with help there!

  It sure sounded like you wanted to add a blog to the blogroll.

  But another person suggested a process which did….go to Administration, click on blogroll, then on category, then edit…..seemed to do the trick.

  I’m glad you got the help you wanted, but I can’t recall every seeing a blogroll link at “Administration,” and don’t believe it’s possible to add a link to a blog or to any URL at the links category page.

  On subject of adding a link to your blogroll in sidebar, here’s the process that works for me:
  1. Click administration
  2. click links, under that click “add new”
  3. new window opens – fill in title, url, description, click blogroll in this screen, then under “target”, click “none.”
  4. In same screen, on upper right side, click add link and Presto!
  New blog listing should now be in your sidebar in proper place too!

  How are those steps substantively different from the instructions given at the Add a Blogroll Link support page which I provided a link to above, and about which you said,

  Substantially, actually…the link you provided has lots of information on it, but the precise step by step procedure is quite unclear. Elements are presented, but not explained as to whether one should click and use each and everyone of the options…or if not a tech person, which ones are optional or do not relate. As the page starts, does not say click on “Administration” first but talks about “appearance”…sorry, this is quite confusing to someone not really familiar with the backend of a program.
  As a former manual and technical writer in another field, I found the entry you provided quite inadequate…and clearly so have many, many others as noted in the forum queries.
