Edit Page looks nothing like live page

    I have downladed a theme. On a pre-existing page in the live version I can see theme components and layout but when I click to edit page, all the formatting is gone and I can only see the text.

    On a new page I have added, the opposite happens. I can see the theme exactly as as the demo and how I want it but on the live version the formatting is messed up.

    Hi there, looking at your account I don’t see any sites hosted here on WordPress.com. This support forum you’ve posted to assists users with free websites hosted on the WPcom platform. WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page. For this issue, you may wish to contact the theme author directly for help.
