  How is meta data, tags etc edited for pages.

  It’s not possible to edit meta data, though you can find more information on how to add or edit tags in this guide. There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.   What about page description? This is a fundamental attribute to a page.

  A separate page description hasn’t been utilized by the major search engines for a few years now. The content of the page itself takes precedence.
