The parent page for Inuit Carvings does NOT show the description from child pages at the bottom. All other parent pages do. How do I eliminate the descriptions at the bottom of the other parent pages? buynativeamericanart.wordpress.com Thanks

    Hi @dacarignan!

Inuit Carvings has the Full Width Page template assigned to it whereas other parent pages on your site have the Grid Page template assigned to them.

With the Motif theme, if page has been assigned as a Grid Page then its child pages will automatically be displayed on it.

If you like the look of the Inuit Carvings page then you could go to the editor for each of your other pages and change their page templates to Full Width Page from the Page Options panel, as described here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-options/

The Grid Page template will always show the title, featured image, and excerpt of each of its child pages by default. If it’s only the excerpt that you dislike then you could set up a custom except by following the steps in this documentation:

    Excerpts

Hope that information is helpful. :) We’re right here if anything else comes up too.
