Edit post and page title

Are you composing your content in the WordPress.com editor or are you writing the content elsewhere and copying and pasting it here? If it’s the latter, it could be retaining some formatting that doesn’t parse correctly once you paste it over.
If you are writing in the WordPress.com editor, are you typing the same quote mark using your keyboard? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thanks!

Thank you for that response. I am copying and pasting the content from the microsoft word using the standard quotation marks “”. Strangely, where I have copied and pasted from a single document, there is the variation I indicated. I tried replacing a block of text to solve the problem, but the same type was reproduced.

Microsoft Word does have formatting that may not copy properly, so we have a support document on how to best copy your text from Word to WordPress here that will help:

Hello, can you help me with subpages? I have made two subpages that appear in the pages list but not on the site. I mean you go to the parent page and there’s no link. Thank you.

Hi there!
I think you’re referring to the menu on your page where the subpages do not appear. That’s expected, as you need to manually add the links to your menu. This gives you the freedom to either show or hide pages from your menu.
To add the subpages as a drop-down menu item to your menu, please follow the steps on this page: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/create-drop-down-menus/#create-a-drop-down-menu-in-the-site-editor

Thanks. I’ll mark this thread as resolved. Going forward, if you have a question on a different topic, it’s best to create a new thread here:
https://wordpress.com/forums/?new=1Enter the topic in the title, more details in the body, then share that. You’ll just want to avoid creating multiple threads for the same issue. Cheers!
