EDIT POST MODE NOT WORKING

I’ll try again. I am having serious problems in Edit Post mode. The cursor seems to create a shadow over the text. Any post, either published or preliminary, does not appear capable of editing. They have become very long, the lined box around the post doesn’t look right. It’s hard to explain; it isn’t working. This happened after saving a copy of my Bob Marley post. It all of a sudden showed a copy of all the revisions, then fell into a jumbled, disorganized mess, compared to the usual orderly presentation. One additional note. By mistake I approved a typical spam message today. Could that be the problem?

In addition, the blog is not posting correctly, problems with all italic print after the latest post. It’s a mess. Please help. Thousands of hours of work here.

More….my wife was typing the blog today, as I am injured. It appears something may have gone wrong because she increased the size of the font dramatically, so she could see the words better. the word countk, usually available on the bottom of each post, is missing. As I said before, each post entry is now many times longer than the avalable print. Thanks; I will keep working on it.

OK, sorry for being verbose. It appears the problem is a missing edit metabox. How do I restore this?
