Edit post without republishing?

  I would like to redo the categories on my posts; however, I’ve noticed that whenever I “update” the post, it often shows up in my Google Reader as if it were a new post. How can I prevent this? I just want to make minor changes without notifying anyone. Thanks.

  Temporarily set your site to private at settings > privacy, make your changes and then after everything is saved, set it back to public.
