Edit posts pages not loading

Hi,
For a couple of weeks now, any time i’m trying to edit a post or wanting to continue something in draft the pages don’t load fully or just don’t show up.
The grayish fields show and then just white. Removed all cooking, did all other cleaning like cache i could find, logged out and logged in and still not working and now its becoming annoying.
Any help would be appreciated.
Any other page does load, just the edit pages

Many thanks for reaching out – that does sound like odd behaviour.
On first glance, everything looks ok – is this happening on a specific page or post.
Also, what is the browser in use? Do you have any browser extensions running (for instance, AdBlockers?).

All posts, the only variable that seemed to be an issue is editing it, the urls ending in -number.
I use firefox with a list of add-ons, however it never was an issue before a couple of weeks ago.
Likewise the android app crashes when I attempt the same thing, editing pages in draft, published etc.

Everything seems to be loading correctly on my end. I wonder if there’s something particular in some of your posts that crashes the browser/app.
Are you adding the content directly or copy-pasting it from elsewhere? Could you share a link to the post that causes the issue?Also, remember that with your plan, you can access support directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way, you can get help faster.

Basically any of the links such as: https://wordpress.com/post/qualitychanoyu.com/6649 <not just this one, all of them.
They don’t load. Again the greyish fields flicker for a little then a white page. Its not so much about the content as it is about loading a page. I can’t add content if the pages don’t load.

I am unable to replicate the issue from my end as well. all the posts and drafts are loading successfully when I click to edit them. I am currently under Chrome. Have you tried to see if the same issue happens when using a different browser or Firefox in a private browser?

I have used a different browser (opera), and it doesn’t happen. However I’m am confident that I did not change anything in my standard browser (firefox), which makes me believe something must changed in either the block manager, or wordpress or something relating to those. Trying to batch edit tags also gives me an error lots of times, this happened before the issue regarding the failed loading of edit pages.

Most modern browsers will apply updates without prompting you to do so.
It looks like the most recent Firefox update (86.0.1) was released on March 11th. Was that around the same time you started experiencing issues?
Firefox does ship with privacy tools like blocking third party cookies and other security features and it’s possible you may have some enabled which is preventing WordPress.com from working properly.
I tested the post you linked to above in the latest version of Firefox and I can’t replicate the error: screenshot https://d.pr/i/bE7aVv
Since it works for us and it works for you in a non-Firefox browser, you will need to check your browser settings and adjust those settings to allow WordPress.com pages to load properly.
