Add topic to favorites
Greetings all,

I’ve recently tried to upload my site’s podcast to iTunes, but I’ve realised that I cannot edit specific details of the podcast – like a cover image, author, description etc. – without editing the podcast’s RSS feed in WP.

I’m using the ‘Structure’ theme by Organic and am not sure where I have to go to edit these details. I don’t have the CSS upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated!

The RSS feed URL for your posts is http://bnbgaming.com/feed/
The RSS feed URL for your comments ishttp://bnbgaming.com/comments/feed/
There are RSS feeds for every category we create as well and this is the format > http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/category/categoryname/feed/

Thanks for the reply. I signed up on FeedBurner and that has definitely helped.

However, I still need to edit the name of the podcast category’s RSS feed. On the iTunes submission form, it is appearing as “Site name: Site blurb -> Podcast”, when I really just want the feed to say “Podcast”.

How do I go about editing this?

You can edit the Category here > far left hand column on your Admin page > Click posts so it opens then click > Categories

Not that the site name will always appear in a category URL. This is the format for a Category feed: http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/category/categoryname/feed/

I get how to change categories, but that’s not my problem.

The name of the category, specifically, is “PodBytes”. However, the title of the feed (bnbgaming.com/category/podbytes/feed) is the full name of the site, followed by the category: “Bits ‘n’ Bytes Gaming: Videogame News, Reviews, Previews, Editorials & More! > PodBytes”. That’s how it is appearing on iTunes, and it can’t be edited on Feedburner.

How can I edit the title of the RSS feed to it’s just “PodBytes”?

As far as I know you can’t. To get a definitive answer you will have to contact Staff. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
