  Hi there!

  You can edit your Sidebar in Customize (wordpress.com/customize) > Widgets > Sidebar.

  I’ve tried that, but it keeps taking me to the wrong site. I want to edit the main page sidebar at patrickbresnan.com, but it keeps taking me to patricksbresnan.wordpress.com I have no idea why. Please help.

  Ah, okay. That site is not hosted here at WordPress.com and is a self-hosted WordPress.org site.

  Since that site isn’t hosted here, I can’t see the backend to verify the exact spot for your theme.

  But I’d look in Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Sidebar.
