edit sidebar widget

How to enter the sidebar to edit it? I’ve tried repeatedly & when I click inside to edit, it just shows settings such as title & how many blogs to display. There are broken links inside the widget I want to fix.

Hi @mariekitten, it sounds like you’re trying to adjust your widget settings. Have you tried going to Customize > Widgets ?
If that isn’t working, can you send more information about what you’re seeing?
Also, if you’re talking about the Blogs I Follow widget, that comes from the sites here:

I am talking about the “Blogs I Follow” widget. When I go to Customize>Widgets, the list comes up but when I click inside to add or delete an entry, it takes me to the settings. Setting are fine. Need to add, delete, edit listings.
How did you get to the “following/manage” page, please? That navigation of ‘followed sites,’ ‘conversations,’ ‘my likes,’ etc doesn’t show on my dashboard.

As my colleague noted, you can update the blogs that you follow here: https://wordpress.com/following/manage
The blogs that you have followed in the Reader are what’s pulled into that widget, which can’t be edited directly in Appearance → Widgets.
If you’d rather create a custom list, consider adding a blogroll instead.
