Edit user profile permissions

    Haye,

    any easy way to edit user profile permissions? For example, I would like to let Subscribers to post new article without being filtered by administrator.

    I found a way to edit it via database, but suddenly it didn’t work at all after I tried to add publishing permissions for Subscriber. Also, it would be awesome if they actually could edit their own posts.

    Any plugins or easy ways? I’m quite new to WP so if you are about to tell me to edit a file, please lemme know which file & where.
