edit vs preview

  Hey there! I’m wondering why when I customize and edit my page none of the changes I do appear in the preview.

  Hi there,

  Of what site are you speaking, and what exactly are you changing that aren’t appearing in the preview?

  Are you speaking of the preview in the theme customizer, or the preview that comes up if you click the Preview button in the post/page editor?

  I am replying to kokkieh:
  When I click preview it changes all the colors that I have set for some reason. In preview it changes the colors to the original theme colors even though I have changed and set new colors when I customize/edit. How do I fix this? I took screen shots to share but there is no link to send them to you. Also, when you reply I get it to my email but I am unable to keep the same thread and reply to that email because you write from noreply@wordpress… is there a more simple way to correspond? Have you dealt with this preview issue before? Is there a way to fix this from your end? Thank you for your help!

  Hi Haley,

  To reply to a thread you will need to go to the forum thread directly. I have merged the new topic you created to the original thread so that everything is in one place.

  The link above is how it looks during editing. These are my custom colors.

  The link below is when I save my customization and then click preview… it gets rid of all of my editings and goes back to the original theme colors.

  I’ve cleared the colors cache for your site, so it now shows your custom colors you selected.
