Edit wordpress.com domain name

  can i edit my wordpress domain? I want to keep my free domain name and just edit it without deleting the site. Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you want to keep the old name active, just register a new blog.

  For example, if my domain was “hello31.wordpress.com” and I wanted to take out the 31 and it just be “hello.wordpress.com” is that possible?

  Just register a new blog. Set the old blog to Private on the Settings->Reading page. If the URL you want has been used, though, you’re out of luck. We can’t give any more info if you don’t post the exact URLs you’re talking about.
