Edit YouTube Address
-
Not sure when this happened, but I cannot edit an Address in YouTube once I’ve posted it. I used to clone my posts all the time with a YouTube Address in the post and just go in and edit it accordingly. Now I cannot!

Hi there – Could you give us an idea of your workflow perhaps by providing a more recent example of where this should have worked, but didn’t? Those details will help us understand how we can try this ourselves and then come up with a solution or two for you if we’re able. :)

I create a Blog Post with a YouTube link embedded. I will clone it a week later and have a different YouTube link I want to embed. I used to be able to click on the Embed Box where that link is and edit it, replacing the link with the new one. Now suddenly it does not respond. There is NO edit functionality when I click on it. Is it possible it’s due to the recent upgrade?

Seeing the Page or Post really isn’t going to help because you won’t be able to “try and edit” it and I’m not going to give you a password in order to see what I’m talking about. This is a Weekly Post that has a recorded Sermon on YouTube that I Clone, and then update the Text and the YouTube link. Here is the URL to see what it looks like: https://priuscrash.com/?p=3761&preview=true
