edited blog post- no change on home page

  Hi
  I’m using the cubic layout and have submitted my first post. I’ve since edited my first post but the picture on my home page hasn’t changed.

  can you help? thanks

  deleted history
  and changed browser, still no change.

  My post picture on the home page isn’t what is on my post.
  Any ideas?

  Is it possible that the picture on the home page is the post’s Featured image?

  It is linked to that yes, as i set a featured image but realised i didn’t want it at the top of the page (as a header) so i got rif of the image. However the home page image seems to have stuck.

  I just reset the featured image and it DID change the home image but also put it back on as the header which i dont want.
  Deleted the featured image and its reverted back to the image i don’t want! argh!

  You can still use it as a fetaured image but prevent it from appearing at the top of the page(as a header) by using Custom CSS.

  Custom CSS is part of Custom Design, which is a feature of the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans.

  Okay, I just setup the Cubic theme on my test site to help you figure this out. According to the theme, if your post doesn’t have a featured image but does include images, the Cubic theme will display the first image attached to the post.

  So, all you have to do is remove the featured image and the first image in your post will be set as your featured image.

  I tried it on my test site but I ran into the same problem you had where the picture on the home page didn’t change so I deleted the image from my media library and it worked!
