Editing…

    When I publish and then view my site, why is the Edit still in the viewing ? I do not want some reader to edit my work. How to eliminate the Edit portion on my finished blog posts?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

    An edit link on the publicly visible site will only be seen by those who have permission to edit the content on which the link appears (page, post, etc.), in accordance with the User Roles, and only when a user is logged into their account.

    If you’re the site owner and the only author, then no one else (other than WordPress.com staff) can see the edit links.
