Editing a client’s website

  I offered to replace an image on a associate’s (soon to be client’s) home page. They no longer have any contact information for the site’s builder, nor do they have the log-in credentials. They are still paying all fees associated with the site so I’m sure he can gain access to make the edit but I have no idea how to go about gaining that access.

  We’re happy to help but could you share us the domain name so that we can point you in the right direction for support?

  If the site is hosted on WordPress.com with a paid plan, they’re able to regain access to the account by using the account recovery form with the transaction ID.

  After they have regained the access to the account, they’re able to add you to the site.
