editing a .css footer in Coraline
-
Hello,
I would like to remove part of the footer from the posts in my website. At the bottom of each of my posts, it says something like this: “This entry was posted in Exhibitions. Bookmark the permalink. Comments are closed.” Is there a way to remove this text without affecting the rest of my footer? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Here is a link to one of the ‘problem posts’: http://joemeiser.wordpress.com/2011/08/06/exhibition-at-box-13/
thanks,
JoeThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Excellent–it worked! Thank you very much!
Also, is there a way to remove the links in the post header? At the top of each post, there are links to other posts, but I would prefer that they not be there.
Here is a link to a particular example: http://joemeiser.wordpress.com/2011/07/22/460/
I want to remove these items from the top: “← Mobile Transcendence Device
Robotic Cuckoo Vulture (work in progress) →”Is there a way to make this happen?
Thanks again for your help.

… and, on the same page, just under the post title at the top, is it possible to also remove these items?: “Posted on July 22, 2011 by Joe Meiser| Leave a comment ”

Great, thanks again. And I have just one more final question. On the same page, just under the post title at the top, is it possible to also remove these items?: “Posted on July 22, 2011 by Joe Meiser| Leave a comment ”

…well, I thought I was totally finished, but my obsessive tendencies led me to make another change to the site, and this has in turn led to another small glitch. I added captions to the images on my home page, and when I did, Coraline automatically added a gray box around the image and text. I find the gray box distracting, and I’m wondering if it is possible to make it so that this box is all white, so that it will blend in with the background color?
Again, here is a link: http://joemeiser.wordpress.com/
Thanks in advance.

This takes the grey to white on the captions.
.wp-caption { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF; } -

Okay, one final question and then I think I’ll be totally finished with these changes. Is there a way to make it so that when a person is viewing a gallery of images, that they would be able to advance to the next image or go to the previous image by clicking the left and right arrows on their keyboard? Here is a link to an example of a gallery where I’d like to make this change: http://joemeiser.wordpress.com/2011/07/22/the-two-deaths-of-socrates/_3292101928/

No, they will have to use the next and previous links at the top of the attachment page to move through the images.

Do you know if there is a way to remove the extra space above the header image that appears on each page of my website? When I open my site on some browsers, the header image is a significant distance down from the top. I think this space appears because of the title and description information that could be entered, but my name is already included in my header image, so the space is unnecessary. Do you think it is possible to remove this space with .css?

Add this and adjust the padding-top value. 28px is what is was by default.
#masthead { padding-top: 28px; } -
