Editing a new page – not the same interface as editing existing pages.

Created a new page on the site I’m working on. In the past when I edited pages on this site, I got the block ‘bakery’ page to do the editing. With this new page it’s more like the blog editor, and completely different. I just want some consistency here, is it possible to switch this interface to the other one?

  • Hi @kingdudafor! Sure thing. First, are you working on the same site right now? Generally the WPBakery plugin is one you’d install once and then just keep updated, so if it was there and is now gone, you’ll want to check out any possible licensing issues. Also, be sure you’re logged into the correct site / account.

If you have a new site here with us, different from the one you’re used to, the blocks here are indeed different from WPBakery. They are the default WordPress blocks, plus some of our own.

You can install that plugin on our service if you’d like, though. You will need our Business plan, because outside plugins and themes add complexity to our support and maintenance.
