Editing a Page to add new links
-
I have several pages with links to various posts. Until recently I was able to add new links (in alphabetical order). Recently, I have not been able to do this. The page will not let me add between existing posts.
For example, if I want to add a link between “Banon” and “Barely buzzed”, in the past I would place the cursor at the beginning of “Barely Buzzed” link and hit the “enter” key and add a new cheese link. Now when I hit “Enter” nothing happens.
Any help in resolving is appreciated.

Hello there,
Please see this thread as others are also experiencing problems > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/cannot-add-a-link-to-my-blog-post?replies=30#post-681938 -
I read the thread but it doesn’t seem to be the same exact problem – thanks for trying to assist me – it is greatly appreciated.
I noticed the problem with my “pages” not my “posts” about two weeks ago.
I can add links to new posts but not to existing pages.
I use Google Chrome and it automatically updates Flash.
Very frustrating.

I have figured a way around it, but it’s very time-consuming:
go into “html” and add the link; switch back to “visual” and delete the link and then re-insert in where the deletion took place.
It works but adds three extra steps for every link I need to add to my index pages.

Thank goodness you have found a workaround. :) When Staff reactivate the support contact link on Monday 29th August (UTC) please do report this issue to them.
