Editing a Template – Where is the Appearance Editor

I want to edit a Template. The support page [https://wordpress.com/support/templates/edit-the-page-template/] states to click on ‘Appearance’ on the dashboard, but I don’t see that label to click. Where is the Appearance edit button?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

The Appearance option shows up for site administrators only. I see that your role on the site is an Editor. You’ll want to ask the site owner/administrators to change your role to Administrator. Once that’s done, you’ll see additional options show up on your dashboard, including the Appearance menu.

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.

    Hi aisajib Staff Member,

Thanks for the response. Is there any way that you can provide me with the name(s) of the current administrator(s) for this account or request the administrator(s) to contact me?

I’m sorry, but due to security reasons, we are unable to provide the information you’re requesting. To obtain that information, you will need to contact someone within the organization directly.

I hope this clarifies the situation for you. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
