editing About page

  How do I get into my About page to fix two dead links?
  I can see my posts in dashboard form but not my About page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  @maggiemellon, if you’re seeing the left-hand menu (the one with “Dashboard” at the top), follow it down to “Pages”; mousing over that one will give you a sub-dropdown that includes your “About” page, which, if you select it, will give editing options (mousing over the “About” heading itself makes a line with “Edit,” “Quick Edit,” Trash” and “View” appear under it). Lmk if that works — I like playing a-guy-who-knows-what-he’s-talking-about on the internet :-).

  thanks, this worked…..mostly. I think I should have taken some lessons before diving in. I am making a complete mess of editing and it is taking me ages just to post up photos and get some text up. And then it is the wrong one, but thanks, will get there in the end

  hi, thanks, I tried this but when I moused over Pages under the dashboard heading, it did not give me the ‘About’ heading to edit

  Not sure why it isn’t, @maggiemellon…I’d never even noticed the guidance that timethief pointed out so maybe that’s a more dependable source than me? :-)

  Hi I am trying to edit my about page but when I add on some text it disappears and leaves me with my original text…it is not in saved area.
