Editing All Tags / Posts
-
I have imported my posts from another site (tumblr). I want to go through all posts to improve the tagging system and make it more searchable. This is going to involve editing every individual post (~14,000 posts), which is obviously going to take a long time and be pretty spread out. Is there a way to narrow down how many posts are visible at one time when viewing from the editing/admin page? Such as viewing only posts from a certain month rather than all posts? I see that there are ways to do that on the site itself but not from the admin side. I would like to be able to pick up where I left off rather than spending an hour just scrolling down the list of all posts, so I can find where I should pick up. Thanks!

Hi there,
We do have the ability to bulk-edit posts if you use the classic wp-admin interface, but it’s not an option in our newer (default) WordPress admin pages.
This is difficult to explain in words, so I recorded a quick video to show you how to access the wp-admin interface, as well as how to change your view to show up to 100 posts per page.
You can view the at this link: https://d.pr/v/2eGApX
Also you can edit the tags themselves here: https://archivistbot.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=post_tag&orderby=count&order=desc
If you rename a tag on this page, it updates that spelling for all posts that it’s assigned to. Also if you delete a tag from this page it’s deleted from all posts automatically (the post is otherwise untouched, only the tag is edited)
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
