Editing appearance of website/blog

  I don’t have a menu for the appearance settings to alter the custom header image. the side pull out menu also isn’t functioning correctly and I cant find any help anywhere on how to use it. is this new as It doesn’t seem to exist in your help pages?

  The option to change the Header Image is based upon the WordPress Theme’s features. If the Theme allows customization of the header art, it would be Appearance > Header or Header Art.

  Change Themes to see if the header customization menu appears. If it does, that the lack of that option is Theme specific.
