Editing ‘background text’ of the website

  My website has a right column with some general info and links to articles – by examle our Next consert. But I cannot find a way to edit the text in this column.
  New articles appear in the left column, and creating / editing them works fine.

  Hi there,

  The right-hand column is your theme’s widget area, and the content in that column is contained within widgets.

  You can edit your widgets at Appearance ->Customize ->Widgets.

  You can find a detailed overview of how widgets work here:
