editing blog

I can’t even work out how to edit my blog. I’ve posted one page but I can’t get the link to work to let friends know how to get to it. ‘Click here & Select ‘Add & Edit Posts’ is nowhere to be seen. When I look at the WordPress blog info – none of those tabs are anywhere to be seen. Help!

I’d be happy to help out. The link to your blog is pngpilgrimage.wordpress.com. I tested the link and it takes me to your blog, with a post about Stanley Albert French front and center.
To add or edit blog posts, once you’ve logged into your WordPress account, it defaults to the Reader section; switch to My Site up in the top left corner, and you’ll get into your site management section. The left-hand sidebar handles all functions of adding and editing posts and pages, as well as managing your themes and domains.
To add a new blog post, click “Add” next to Blog Posts; this will open up the New Post Screen, and from here you can write up your blog post, insert images, set tags and then Publish it.

Thank you itzbane for your help. I haven’t got those options on my page. When I log on I get down the left hand side:
1. A flower-type icon with 4 squares with blog name underneath
2. A search box
3. Recent Posts
4. STANLEY ALBERT FRENCH – VX 20598
5. Recent Comments
6. Archives
7. April 2016
8. Categories
9. UncategorisedI don’t have an option to switch to My Site or “Add” to the blog.
Is there something basic that I’m missing here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like it’s taking you directly to your blog when you log in, and not to the actual site management section. When you go to your blog, are you logging into WordPress with your username and password?
