editing categories

Hello! I checked out the FAQ on how to edit categories but the ‘admin page’ shown there is not what my admin page looks like. For example, it says that when I click ‘posts’ I will be shown a ‘categories’ option, but I am not. Thank you!

what sort of editing are you trying to do on the admins page?
are you trying to edit the categories on existing posts to make them more relevant, add/remove/change existing category types, or simply find and list your pages/posts by category?

I am trying to edit my existing categories because I was a young blogger when creating them and did not set the correct parent categories, ect. I just need to assign my “Paris” category to my “France” category, then my “France” category to my “Europe” category, ect. Thank you so much for your help!

You can edit them from your dashboard using the wp-admin link or by adding /wp-admin to the end of your URL
