editing categories, deleting and transforming is it available?

  I need to transform the subcategories, all of them, into primary categories for all my posts.
  Also, Can I delete any redundant categories?

  If you have a lot of categories that you want to edit or delete, then you can use the bulk actions feature.

  Hey Timethief, thank you so much for responding to me. I had someone volunteer to help setup my blog–but it didn’t workout. I’m flying blind here, and I have no idea what I’m doing. I have the tabs I want on the main page but when I click on the reverse, FAQ, and book news the descriptions do no appear. Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong?

  For some reason you’ve set your FAQ up as a category, not a page. http://livinglifeinreverseblog.wordpress.com/category/faq/ The category really does not exist, since you don’t have any posts. I suggest you create an FAQ page, not a post, and that you edit the menu to put the correct link in there.

  Great help. Still, what i’m interested is to transform all my subcategories into prime categories. Why? I selected category Novel to edit my novels, only to find that it had over 600 articles with subcathegory “Short stories”, though I didn’t select category “novel”.
  Transforming all categories to prime makes it so easy to find and edit what posts we really are looking for….
