Editing Category Names

  I can not seem to edit the titles of my categories. I navigate to Manage>Category, then click on the category I want to change. I am directed to a screen which allows me to edit the name – all good so far…but the page has no “Save” button, just an “Edit Category” button which kicks me up one level and does not retain the changes I have made.

  How can you edit a category title?

  After you change the name, then press the Edit Category button. That will save it and take you back to your list of categories.

  Thanks for the reply…

  Maybe that is the intent, but is does not work. Have tried about a dozen times and it does not save the edit, just take me back to the list without the changes being saved.

  Have you gone to the front of your blog and looked at the categories in the sidebar to confirm it hasn’t worked?

  What browser and OS are you using? I tested it before I replied to make sure it worked and it did with IE7 and XP.
