Editing comments

  How do you edit comments? That feature seems to have gone too.

  No. Click on the person’s name who did the Comment. The edit box will pop up.

  Well that’s intuitive!

  When it is your own comment, there is no link to edit.

  On our group blog I wanted to clean up a link in a comment I made (still haven’t figured out how to do it) …in part because of the new dashboard and everything (and my sloppiness, but this would not have happened without the change) I ended up deleting a bunch of comments.

  Well, I can’t speak for a group blog, but on my single-user (me!) blog, I click on the Comments tab. I see all Comments. Clicking on anyone’s name (including mine) brings up a full-screen editing box.

  Yeah, not intuitive, but when you know how to do it, it seems to work fine (at least for me; don’t know about a group blog…).

  Thanks for that Mike, it works, although why it’s been done that way is beyond my logic. Surely the edit button should be next to the other comment management buttons like delete & approve? We seem to be reinventing the wheel here. Cheers.
