editing CSS font color and bar color
-
Hi there:
My blog is http://www.violapayne.wordpress.com. I really like the theme a lot but find that the blue is too boyish for me. I want something girlish. I found two HTML color codes that i want to try #FE2E9A and #FA58AC. Unfortunately I have not been successful in modifying the CSS. If you look at the theme what i want is for everyting that’s blue to be pink – blue fonts should be pink and blue bar be pink too. The white stuff and everything else can stay the same. If i could do this i’d be so happy. I have another blog so i know how to do the rest of hte stuff, have just always been rather scared of CSS.
Thank you :)

The blue bar isn’t a color declaration, it is actually two images. You would have to recreate those two images to the exact dimensions of the originals with your chosen colors.

a { color: #6DCFF6; }One note: The pinks you have chosen are much more difficult to read (less contrast) on the dark background color. You are probably going to have to adjust those to a lighter shade.
