Editing CSS in Freshy theme

Can someone help me to remove a few things from my blog? I would really appreciate it. I have upgraded to custom CSS, but I just can’t seem to figure out how to do what I want to do. Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

On the home page, I want to remove the text “Comments : Comments Off,” I want to remove the text “Categories : Uncategorized.” In the footer I want to remove the text “Blog at WordPress.com • Freshy theme by Jide.” I’d also like to remove the date that appears next to all posts.

Here is a link to my blog – http://rothmanlegal.wordpress.com/

    Thanks a bunch in advance.

THe CSS editing upgrade is not recommended to those who lack CSS experience. You will find links to resources you can refer to in the css customization forum. You can also use the forum search box as this have definitely been discussed on this forum previously.

We have a volunteer called devblog who drops in to help with CSS editing now and then. He requests that those he helps read this post http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/

Setting that aside it’s extremely bad form to use a web designer’s free theme and conceal or remove his or her Name from the footer. Doing so makes it appear that you created the theme when most certainly didn’t. It’s likewise bad form to delete the Blog at wordpress.com from the footer for the same reason. Presumably those who avail themselves of a free blog and free hosting will cheerfully let everyone else know they can have a free blog and free hosting too.
