Editing DNS – completely confused!

  Hi there!

  I’m totally new to WordPress/everything web-related, so I’m hoping someone can help me!

  I have been advised by the company who I purchased my domain name from that in order to use their mailboxes I have to set my DNS to certain entries. I have located where to edit the DNS, but it keeps telling me I’m doing it wrong. They have told me that the settings need to be:

  mx1.123-reg.co.uk
  mx0.123-reg.co.uk

  I have tried putting these in, along with trying the MX <1> <123-reg.co.uk> but that really is just a guess!

  Any help would be much appreciated!
